Here are some books for the children who are discussing. For other reading essays, reading books before class is a must. And in class, we test the contents of the books. It is different for the children who are discussing. First, we have a topic discussion, then we write what we have in mind while discussing. Reading takes place after that. The children who are discussing have at least three to five recommended books for each class. In the children’s study room for discussion, the recommended books are selected and rented individually for the children. You don’t have to buy books or visit the library for your parents to borrow.
These are books provided to children in the 5th to 6th grades who are taking Power Debate classes. After the children read the book, they thought about what they would like to write, and posted it on Post-it. The teacher selects related books that fit their personality, and the children in the class discuss with each other and choose the ones that suit their taste. After reading the book, I write the thoughts presented in Post-it correctly. This thinking task can prepare for the descriptive evaluation that is often done in middle school. Check whether the items presented in the assignment are written without missing out, the amount of writing is sufficient, and the spelling is not unreasonable.
